We recognize that every move is different. Like fingerprints, two moves might be the same size, but are unique. Our team conducts a virtual or in-person home survey to identify and consider different variables specific to your move.
We evaluate each move individually, and the price depends on the specific requirements of that move. Hourly rates apply only to local moves, which are within the same general metro area within state lines.
Although each move is unique and the timing will depend on what is included in your service package, you can expect the process to take 5-10 days.
We recommend reaching out to your mover as early as possible. Securing your move date 1-2 months in advance is ideal — but 1-2 weeks is still usually enough notice to schedule. Contact your mover as soon as possible to secure dates during peak seasons.
We give you a delivery window to accommodate for unplanned factors, and to ensure the safety of your goods and the drivers. This window gives a cushion to accommodate unforeseen factors like road closures, traffic delays, drivers’ service hour restrictions, and other stops.
To avoid this happening, we never schedule a delivery the same day as the closing on a new house. Many unexpected factors can delay the closing process. But if you need temporary storage, Scobey has a secure warehouse to store your belongings until closing.
